Rental terms
These terms are binding after the client has either paid the required pre-payment or the full rental amount.
Time at Kiuasniemi
The rent includes free use of the Villa, all equipment and appliances, lake side area, rowing boat and final cleaning. Linen service (bed linen, big and small towels) is available for 15-20 € per person.
Clients will be met at the Villa upon their arrival for introduction to the Villas and surroundings.
Smoking indoors is prohibited, pets possibly allowed by separate request.
Bookings and terms of payment
Client will receive an invoice via email with payment details. We accept payments via bank transfers and all major bank and credit cards which are processed via PayPal or iZettle.
Booking is confirmed once the client has paid a pre-payment (25% of total rental price) or the full rental amount. If the booking is done less than 30 days prior to arrival, the full rental price will be charged.
Booking cancellations
Only cancellations via email are accepted. If the cancellation happens more than 30 days prior to arrival, only the pre-payment (25% of total rental price) will be charged. If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to arrival, the full rental amount will be charged. If the cancellation happens for an unknown and serious incident, which has been demonstrated e.g. by medical or insurance certificate, the full rental amount will returned to the client. If the cancellation occurs less than 48 hours prior to arrival, full rental amount will be charged.
Kiuasniemi cancellations
In case fo force majeure, Kiuasniemi Villas can cancel the booking and all client payments will be returned.
Damages
Client is liable to compensate all possible damages that have occurred during their stay at Kiuasniemi Villas.
Complaints and disputes
All possible complaints relating to staying at Kiuasniemi Villas are to be made immediately. Any refund claims need to be made via email within 30 days of departure. Both parties will try to negotiate a solution. If not reached, disputes will be settled at the local municipal court.
